Position Accountabilities

This position reports directly to assigned Construction Team Leader and is managed by VP of Construction and Construction Team Leaders.

This position is accountable for:

• Perform labor necessary to assist in completing basic residential and commercial pool installations, repairs, and renovations in an efficient and professional manner.
• This position is focused on learning and developing proficiencies in swimming pool construction processes.
• Willingness to learn and implement evolving pool construction methods and technology.
• Effectively communicating with clients and coworkers.
• Continuously striving for improvement in current position striving to be perceived as “top of industry.”

Qualifications

•  High School diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (for this specific position)

• Develop skills to operate a skid loader and mini excavator proficiently and safely.
• Work towards the ability to dig a flat plane within +/-2” with same equipment.
• Assist in grading, forming, pouring, and finishing basic flatwork.
• Assist in installation of PVC plumbing for swimming pools.
• Install vinyl liner pool panels.
• Install Pool Krete.
• Assist in the installation of vinyl liners.
• Work towards basic proficiency of masonry unit construction

Duties & Responsibilities (for this specific position)

• Keep shop area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and stocked with appropriate supplies and tools. Maintain and clean construction equipment and trailers.
• Maintain jobsite safety during all phases including transport, site work, equipment operation, pool chemicals, electrical, and underground utilities.
• Maintain good working relationship with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Daily Routine:
  • Meet with supervisor for job plans reviews and daily work assignments.
  • Review job plans and work assignments for necessary supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Assist in the labor of all phases of Vinyl liner pool installations.
  • Review work daily for quality control.
  • Review work daily and consult with supervisor for next steps and scheduling.
  • Report any issues regarding project, employees, equipment/tools, or clients to supervisor in a timely manner.

Essential Functions

• Able to stand, sit, kneel, and walk as needed during a shift.
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 100 pounds.
• Able to work in all weather conditions.

Position Accountabilities

This position reports to the Retail Manager(s) and is managed by the VP of Retail.

This position is accountable for:

• Providing consistent, outstanding retail customer experience.
• Maintaining a professional, clean, and well stocked retail store
• Accurate testing of swimming pool water samples; providing results, and recommendations to customers.

Qualifications

•  High School diploma or equivalent

• Conduct retail transactions for swimming pool supplies
• Test swimming pool water samples, enter results, and create personalized analysis.
• Present analysis results to clients and make purchasing recommendations based on results.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean, and professional showroom of pool supplies.
• Provide outstanding customer experience while upholding Elite Pool Standards for client satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities (for this specific position)

• Stock shelves and bring boxes to show room from storage rooms.
• Use POS system to complete transactions.
• Assist clients out to vehicle with products after purchase.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying packing lists.
• Assist with data entry of invoices and receipts.
• Cleaning retail area and bathrooms including vacuuming, wiping down products, wiping down restrooms, and taking out trash.
• Operate water test station.
• Maintain appropriate products for water test station.

• upholding Elite Pool standards of service and cleanliness.
• effectively communicating with clients and coworkers.
• continuously striving for improvement and advancement.

Qualifications

•  High School diploma or equivalent

• Respond to customers and coworkers consistently with calmness, focus, and positivity.

• Basic understanding of the workings of pool filtration.
• Ability to learn to work with pool maintenance equipment.
• Ability to be punctual and timely by showing up before start times.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs and remain standing and active for most the day.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness.

Duties & Responsibilities (for this specific position)

• Communicate any out of the ordinary property or pool conditions (i.e., vandalism, storm damage, excess mess).
• Check vehicle for safety and secure load.
• With guidance and as needed: set up and begin vacuum system process; clean off pool deck, net pool surface; clean skimmer baskets; test water and record readings; backwash and rinse filter system(s); treat pool water; brush and final net; clean bathrooms if required; clean tile if required double check pool equipment for proper function and fill tabs if needed; double check doors, lights, gates, and replace keys to lock box.
• Assist in completing scheduled residential and commercial pool maintenance assignments in an efficient and professional manner.  
• Uphold Elite Pool standards of service and cleanliness.
• Effectively communicate with clients and coworkers.
• Check-in with supervisor that the day is complete upon completing initial assigned service orders, check for additional assignments or helping team finish the day.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked shop and vehicle by keeping appropriate supplies and tools.
• Keep a clean and organized pump room for assigned properties.
